The GC CAPSULE APPLIER III is designed for use with all GC encapsulated glass ionomer products, allowing effortless dispensing of mixed materials directly onto the tooth preparation. It pre-activates the capsule and delivers the material with precision. The applier is autoclavable and simple to clean.

CLEANING:

• Wipe the applier with gauze soaked in alcohol.

STERILIZATION:

• The applier is autoclavable at 121–134°C (250–273°F) for 10–30 minutes (excluding heat-up time). Follow the manufacturer’s instructions carefully.
• Do not use chemical disinfectants or sterilants, as they may damage the applier.

USAGE PRECAUTIONS:

• Always sterilize the applier before use.
• Do not use on patients with known metal allergies or signs of allergic reaction. If a reaction occurs, discontinue use and consult a physician.
• Operators with metal allergies should avoid handling the applier.
• Avoid pinching fingers between the lever and grip.
• For professional dental use only.
• Use only for the applications described in the instructions.

Preparation

• Ensure the applier is clean and sterilized before use.

Loading the Capsule

• Insert the GC encapsulated glass ionomer capsule into the applier.
• Pre-activate the capsule as instructed by the manufacturer.

Dispensing Material

• Position the applier over the tooth preparation.
• Squeeze the lever to dispense the mixed material directly and precisely onto the preparation.

After Use

• Clean the applier by wiping with gauze soaked in alcohol.
• Sterilize in an autoclave at 121–134°C (250–273°F) for 10–30 minutes (excluding heat-up time).
