• 10 × Impression Compound Cakes (200 g total)

1. Heat water in a thermostatically controlled bath to approximately 55°C–60°C.
2. Immerse the compound cake in the heated water until it softens evenly throughout its mass.
3. Knead the softened material thoroughly with moist fingers to achieve a uniform, plastic consistency.
4. Load the softened compound into a suitable rigid primary impression tray.
5. Seat the tray smoothly inside the patient's oral cavity and hold it firmly until the compound hardens.
6. Remove the tray carefully, chill in cold water, and inspect the impression for accurate anatomical detail.
