1. Measure the required quantity of room-temperature water into a clean mixing bowl.
2. Slowly sift the weighed model cement powder into the water to avoid air entrapment.
3. Allow the powder to soak for approximately 30 seconds before manual or vacuum mixing.
4. Spatulate thoroughly for 60 seconds until a smooth, uniform mix is obtained.
5. Flow the prepared mixture into the impression using a mechanical vibrator to remove trapped air.
6. Allow the cast to set undisturbed for 30–45 minutes before sectioning or separating from the impression.
