1. Isolate the operational area using a rubber dam or cotton rolls to prevent moisture contamination.
2. Prepare the cavity according to standard restorative techniques and thoroughly rinse with water spray.
3. Apply a 37% phosphoric acid etchant to enamel and dentin for 15 seconds, then rinse completely with water.
4. Gently air-dry the cavity leaving the dentin visibly moist with a glossy appearance, taking care not to desiccate.
5. Dispense 1 to 2 drops of adhesive onto a mixing pad and immediately apply a generous layer to etched surfaces using a micro-applicator.
6. Agitate the adhesive over the prepared tooth surfaces for 15 to 20 seconds to ensure adequate resin penetration.
7. Gently blow a dry oil-free air stream over the adhesive for 5 seconds to evaporate the solvent and achieve a uniform thin layer.
8. Light-cure the adhesive layer with a visible light unit for 10 to 20 seconds.
9. Proceed immediately with the placement and curing of the desired composite resin restorative material.
