Warnings

This material contains methacrylates and polymerizable monomers, which may cause irritation or allergic reactions.

• Avoid eye contact. Rinse thoroughly and seek medical attention if contact occurs.
• Avoid skin contact. May cause rash or allergic dermatitis. Clean with alcohol and wash with soap and water. Discontinue use if sensitization occurs.
• Avoid contact with oral soft tissues. In case of accidental exposure, rinse thoroughly with water and monitor for signs of inflammation. Seek medical attention if symptoms persist.

Precautions

• Allow product to reach room temperature if stored in a refrigerator.
• Use protective equipment (e.g., safety glasses, rubber dam) for both the dental team and patient.
• Ensure adequate isolation (e.g., rubber dam) to avoid contamination from saliva, blood, or sulcus fluid.
• Immediately reseal syringes after use.
• Do not reuse or reprocess syringes.
• Handle syringes away from the dental unit using clean, disinfected gloves. Discard if contaminated.

Material Interactions

• Do not use with materials containing eugenol or hydrogen peroxide, as they may interfere with the curing process.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Note: Always perform shade selection before starting the restorative procedure, while the teeth are still hydrated, to ensure accurate color matching.

Step 1 – Cavity Preparation

1. Clean the tooth surface using a fluoride-free prophylaxis paste (e.g., Nupro® Prophylaxis Paste).
2. Prepare the cavity, if required (e.g., skip in cases like non-carious cervical lesions).
3. Ensure proper isolation, preferably with a rubber dam.

• Do not over-dry the tooth structure (avoid desiccation).

1. For Class II restorations, place the matrix and wedge appropriately.

Step 2 – Pulp Protection, Conditioning, and Adhesive Application

• Apply pulp protection and treat the dentin/tooth surface as per standard protocol.
• Once the surfaces are prepared, ensure they remain clean and uncontaminated.
• Immediately proceed with the application of the restorative material.

Step 3 – Material Placement

• Apply the composite material in incremental layers directly after the adhesive application.
• Each increment should not exceed 3 mm in thickness.
• Protect the material from ambient light while on the mixing pad or applicator.

Step 4 – Light Curing

1. Use a suitable curing light to polymerize the material.

• The curing light must provide a minimum output of 500 mW/cm².
• Refer to the curing light manufacturer’s Instructions for Use for compatibility and specific guidelines.

1. Cure each increment/layer for the recommended duration based on the shade and thickness.

Step 5 – Finishing and Polishing

1. Contour the restoration using finishing burs or diamonds.
2. Use Enhance® finishing instruments for refining the shape and smoothness.
3. Before polishing, confirm the surface is smooth and free from defects.
4. To achieve a high-gloss finish, it is recommended to use:

• ceram.x® gloss,
• Enhance® and PoGo® finishing and polishing systems,
• Prisma® Gloss™ Regular and Extra-fine polishing pastes.
