• Canal Preparation: Shape the canal with rotary or hand files to a final size of #30, using a .04 or .06 taper.
• Size Verification: Confirm a passive fit of the obturator to the working length using the included size verifier.
• Sealer Application: Dry the canal and apply a thin, even layer of root canal sealer (e.g., AH Plus Jet) to the canal walls.
• Obturator Heating: Place the GuttaCore obturator in the ThermaPrep 2 oven and heat until the unit signals readiness (about 60 seconds).
• Insertion: Insert the heated obturator into the canal to the working length, maintaining steady apical pressure.
• Handle Removal: Gently remove the handle by bending at the shaft’s score mark.
