Easy Post is a composite post reinforced with an epoxy resin matrix, which allows it to absorb both axial and transverse loads generated during chewing. The inclusion of fiberglass provides hardness and translucency, facilitating the passage of polymerization light, while zirconium enhances the post’s overall strength and durability.

The post has a modulus of elasticity similar to that of dentin, which, combined with its ability to chemically bond to the root canal walls, helps distribute stress evenly and significantly reduces the risk of root fracture.

• Indication
• EasyPost is recommended when residual tooth substance is insufficient (< 4 mm) to support the coronal restoration.
• Pre-Drilling
• Use a Largo drill (No. 1 or No. 2) depending on canal diameter.
• Rotation speed: 800–1200 rpm.
• Precision Drilling
• Use the calibrating drill (No. 1, 2, 3, or 4) according to case requirements.
• Rotation speed: 1000–2000 rpm.
• Canal Preparation
• Rinse and dry the canal.
• Ensure at least a 2 mm dentine collar around the preparation.
• Check post positioning in the mouth.
• Post Adjustment
• Trim the post outside the oral cavity using a diamond-tipped disc.
• Dentine Conditioning
• Clean and condition dentine walls with EDTA for 1 minute.
• Rinse with sodium hypochlorite and dry with air and large-diameter paper points.
• Post Cleaning
• Clean the post with alcohol.
• Adhesion and Cementation
• Silane application is not needed.
• Recommended luting: compomer or composite cement (e.g., Dyract Cem) with Prime & Bond + Self Cure.
• Treat both the post and the canal/access cavity with Prime & Bond + Self Cure, following manufacturer instructions.
• Apply cement in the canal using a rotary paste filler (Lentulo).
• Post Insertion
• Insert the post into the canal, applying pressure to ensure maximum adhesion.
• Remove any excess cement.
