Coltene One Coat Bond SL is a light-curing, single-component adhesive used with a total-etch technique. It is indicated for bonding restorative materials to dental hard tissues and can also be used for dentine or fissure sealing within the applications defined by COLTENE.

The adhesive is supplied as a 5 ml bottle. Clinical success depends on correct etching, moisture control, active application, air thinning and adequate light polymerisation. Follow the current One Coat Bond SL instructions for substrate preparation, curing-light requirements, storage and compatibility with the selected restorative material.

• 1 × One Coat Bond SL Bottle – 5 ml

1. Etch enamel and dentine with a phosphoric-acid etching gel according to its instructions, then rinse thoroughly.
2. Dry with oil-free air without over-drying dentine.
3. Dispense one drop of One Coat Bond SL into a mixing well and protect it from light.
4. Massage the bonding agent onto the prepared surface for 20 seconds with a disposable applicator.
5. Gently air-thin with oil-free air and light-cure for 30 seconds when using a curing light above 800 mW/cm²; extend curing if required by the current IFU.
6. Place the restorative material according to its manufacturer instructions.
