1. Isolate the operational site using a rubber dam to protect the working area and prevent accidental inhalation.

2. Clear the target interproximal zones of biofilm and debris using appropriate cleaning protocols.

3. Select the proper DC Series matrix size based on the width of the gap and clinical height requirement.

4. Insert the matrix gently into the gingival sulcus, ensuring it rests naturally against the interproximal tissue for marginal seal.

5. Apply staged wedging only if an existing contact point is missing or additional space stabilization is required.

6. Etch, bond, and perform injection moulding or layered composite placement into the matrix form.

7. Light cure thoroughly from facial and lingual directions through the transparent matrix shell.

8. Remove the matrix band gently, inspect contours, and finalize with appropriate finishing burs and polishing discs.
