1. Clean the target interproximal area and remove interdental debris or calculus.

2. Select the appropriate size matrix form based on tooth height and space width.

3. Insert the matrix gently into the gingival sulcus to establish marginal seal and stability.

4. Apply etching agent and bonding resin to the prepared tooth surfaces according to manufacturer guidelines.

5. Inject or layer the composite material into the matrix enclosure to recreate natural emergence contours.

6. Light-cure the composite restoration thoroughly from both labial and lingual aspects.

7. Remove the matrix film carefully and complete minimal final contouring and polishing.
