Apple Airotor Handpiece – Standard Head Push Button (SU) is a high-speed air-driven handpiece designed for routine operative and restorative dental procedures. Its standard head provides practical intraoral access, while the push-button chuck allows convenient changes of compatible FG burs.

The handpiece operates at 350,000–400,000 rpm with a recommended air pressure of 0.18–0.21 MPa. German-made ceramic ball bearings are incorporated to support smooth rotation and controlled operation, while the aluminium body provides a lightweight design for comfortable handling.

A double water spray assists with cooling during high-speed cutting. The three-hole airflow arrangement provides an anti-retraction function around the head, helping manage airflow when the dental unit stops.

1. Inspect the handpiece, push-button chuck, spray outlets and two-hole fitting before use.
2. Connect the handpiece securely to the compatible dental-unit fitting.
3. Insert a compatible 1.59–1.60 mm FG bur and confirm secure push-button retention.
4. Run the handpiece briefly to check double water spray and smooth turbine rotation.
5. Operate within the stated pressure and 350,000–400,000 rpm range with adequate water cooling.
6. Perform the procedure with controlled pressure and stop the turbine before changing the bur.
7. Clean and lubricate the handpiece after use according to the applicable maintenance instructions.
8. Autoclave up to 135°C as specified, then cool and dry before storage.
