Clean and dry the custom bleaching trays thoroughly before loading the gel, as moisture reduces whitening efficiency. Dispense a small drop of whitening gel onto the inner labial surface of each tooth compartment in the tray. Position the filled tray firmly over the arch, taking care not to push the gel out of the compartments. Gently wipe away any excess gel that extrudes onto the gingival tissue using a clean finger or cotton swab. Keep the tray in place for the prescribed duration based on gel strength (30–60 minutes for 35%; 1–3 hours for 22%). Remove the tray post-treatment, then brush and rinse both teeth and tray to clear all residual gel. Maintain a minimum interval of 24 hours between consecutive bleaching treatments.
