Ammdent Temp-Ting Temporary Luting Material is an advanced, non-eugenol provisional cement formulated for short-term fixation of indirect dental restorations including crowns, bridges, inlays, and onlays. Presented as a single-paste system, it eliminates mixing errors and simplifies handling directly at the chairside. The hydraulic formulation activates upon contact with moisture in the oral environment, ensuring predictable setting behavior without requiring light curing. Because the material is entirely free of eugenol, it maintains patient comfort and will not interfere with the polymerization or bond strength of permanent resin cements utilized in definitive placement. Temp-Ting forms a tight marginal barrier that resists oral fluids and drug permeability while preserving internal retention. Thoroughly clean the prepared enamel, dentine, and metal surfaces of the abutment and indirect restoration, ensuring all previous material residues are completely removed. Keep the abutment tooth and restoration interior slightly moist, avoiding complete dehydration of the surfaces. Dispense the required volume of Temp-Ting paste directly onto the internal surfaces of the temporary restoration using a dry instrument. Firmly seat the restoration onto the moist abutment tooth. Trim excess cement from marginal areas using a stiff cementing instrument as the hardening process begins after approximately one minute. Gently probe and rinse remaining residues away using a water jet from a three-way syringe. Instruct the patient to avoid bite loading or chewing pressure on the restoration for 30 minutes following placement.
