Ammdent LC Cal Excel is an advanced single-component, light-cured calcium hydroxide liner formulated to deliver comprehensive thermal and chemical protection to the dental pulp. Its premixed paste consistency allows effortless direct placement into deep cavity preparations without requiring manual mixing. This radiopaque cavity lining material acts as an effective shield against acid penetration during etching protocols and offers excellent adhesion to composite restorative resins. By stimulating secondary dentine formation and displaying low oral fluid solubility, it supports long-term pulpal health and restoration integrity. Each pack contains a 2 g syringe complete with applicator tips for hygienic, point-of-use application.
• Material: Light-cure calcium hydroxide paste
• Product Form: Premixed single-component paste
• Curing Type: Light-cured (halogen or LED)
• Curing Time: 40 to 60 seconds per layer
• Radiopacity: Radiopaque for easy radiographic diagnosis
• Primary Application: Indirect pulp capping, cavity lining, and acid protection during etching
• Solubility: Low solubility in oral fluids
1 Pack Contains:
• 1 × Syringe – 2 g
• 2 × Applicator Tips
Clean and dry the cavity preparation thoroughly, ensuring complete isolation of the treatment area. Attach an application tip securely to the syringe. Dispense the material directly into the deepest parts of the cavity or onto the indirect pulp capping site. Apply in layers not exceeding 1 mm thickness for optimal light penetration. Light cure each layer for 40 to 60 seconds using a dental curing light held close to the material. Carefully remove any excess material from unwanted margins using fine rotating finishing instruments. Proceed with the final restorative material placement according to standard clinical protocol.
