• Chemically bonds directly to enamel and dentin without requiring separate etching or bonding agents
• High compressive strength provides the structural resilience required for core foundations under indirect restorations
• Thermal expansion coefficient matches natural tooth structure to help preserve marginal integrity
• Continuous fluoride release assists in protecting adjacent tooth structures against secondary caries
• Self-curing mechanism sets uniformly without curing light depth restrictions or polymerization shrinkage
• Biocompatible formulation offers minimal pulpal irritation during deep cavity preparations
• Excellent radiopacity allows for easy diagnostic visualization on post-treatment X-rays
Ammdent GI Core GIC is a high-performance self-curing glass ionomer cement formulated specifically for core build-ups and conservative restorative procedures. It forms a direct chemical bond with tooth structure, securing a reliable marginal seal while eliminating the need for complex adhesive prep protocols. Its thermal expansion coefficient closely parallels natural dentin, minimizing internal micro-stress at the restorative interface over time. This cement is suitable for foundational core builds beneath crowns and bridges, Class I and Class III restorations, repair of Class V erosion defects, and pediatric restorative applications. The setting reaction proceeds chemically without volumetric contraction, permitting bulk placement into deep prep areas. Additionally, continuous fluoride release supports long-term oral health around the restoration margin. The retail package is supplied as a powder-liquid system containing 10 g powder and 6 g liquid along with dispensing accessories. The powder and liquid combine smoothly to give predictable working time and setting characteristics suitable for routine clinical protocols.

1 Pack Contains:
• 1 × Powder Jar – 10 g
• 1 × Liquid Bottle – 6 g
• 1 × Mixing Pad
• 1 × Dispensing Spoon & Dropper Cap
Clean and isolate the treatment site, ensuring the cavity is free from debris and saliva contamination.
Place pulp protection on deep cavity preparations where remaining dentin thickness is less than 1 mm.
Replace the standard cap on the liquid bottle with the dropper provided and shake the liquid well prior to dispensing.
Dispense the recommended proportion of powder and liquid onto a mixing pad or glass slab.
Ingest the powder into the liquid using a plastic spatula, mixing thoroughly within 30 to 40 seconds to achieve a smooth consistency.
Transfer the mixed cement immediately to the cavity or prep area using appropriate hand placement instruments.
Allow the cement to self-cure undisturbed for 4 to 6 minutes post-application.
Trim excess material using sharp hand instruments and contour with flexible finishing discs once fully set.
Apply a protective dental varnish over the surface to protect the curing cement against moisture contamination.
