Ream and shape the root canal system using standard endodontic instrumentation protocols. Fill an endodontic irrigating syringe equipped with a side-vented needle with Ammdent Dentochlor. Flush the prepared canal thoroughly using 1–2 ml of the solution per canal space. Maintain adequate contact time within the root canal space to achieve thorough antimicrobial decontamination. Rinse the root canal system with sterile saline or water prior to applying other medicaments or obturation materials. Dry the canal thoroughly with paper points before proceeding to final obturation.
