Isolate the target tooth using a rubber dam or cotton rolls to prevent salivary contamination. Complete the cavity preparation and rinse away debris thoroughly with water spray.Lightly air-dry the prepared cavity using clean, oil-free compressed air. Soak a small cotton pellet with Ammdent D-Hydral solution. Gently dab the internal surfaces of the cavity preparation with the saturated pellet. Allow a few seconds for the liquid to evaporate completely from the tooth surface. Proceed immediately with the placement of the chosen lining, bonding agent, or restorative material.
