Establish rubber dam isolation and create standard access to the pulp chamber. Identify and clear superficial debris around the root canal orifices. Apply 1 to 2 drops of CanalSolve R directly onto the root canal filling material. Allow the solvent to sit for a brief period to soften the resin sealer and gutta-percha. Engage endodontic probes, hand files, or retreatment instruments to remove the softened material. Reapply the solvent in controlled amounts as needed until the entire canal length is negotiable. Flush the canal thoroughly with sodium hypochlorite and dry completely before re-obturation.
