Ammdent Ammbond 7 is an advanced single-step, 7th-generation self-etching adhesive designed to streamline routine restorative workflows in clinical practice. By integrating the etching, priming, and bonding functions within one single-bottle formulation, this adhesive eliminates the requirement for separate acid etching and water-rinsing phases. This significantly curtails total chairside operational time while reducing operator-dependent technique sensitivity and postoperative dentin hypersensitivity. Formulated with optimized methacrylate monomers including UDMA, Bis-GMA, and HEMA, Ammbond 7 penetrates tooth structure to form a resilient hybrid layer across both enamel and dentin. It is indicated for direct light-cured composite resin placements, compomer fillings, core build-ups, and cavity sealing. Additionally, it provides reliable retention when prepared for indirect restoration cementation protocols utilizing light-activated luting agents. Clean the target cavity preparation thoroughly and dry the surface without causing dentinal desiccation. Agitate the adhesive container briefly; shake vigorously for 20 to 30 seconds prior to initial use. Dispense 2 to 3 drops of adhesive into a clean dispensing well and recap the bottle immediately. Apply the adhesive using a micro-applicator brush, actively scrubbing the tooth surface for 20 seconds. Apply a second layer of adhesive and scrub for an additional 20 seconds. Gently evaporate the solvent stream using oil-free air for a minimum of 5 seconds. Light-cure the applied adhesive layer for 20 to 30 seconds before proceeding with composite placement.
