1. Securely insert the stainless steel mandrel shaft into a clean, low-speed Right Angle (RA) contra-angle handpiece.
2. Select the appropriate 3M Sof-Lex polishing disc based on the required grit sequence.
3. Align the central eyelet of the disc with the mandrel head and press firmly until it snaps into place.
4. Operate the handpiece within the recommended operating speed range of 15,000 to 20,000 RPM under light pressure.
5. Depress the back of the disc center gently away from the mandrel head to pop off the disc post-procedure.
6. Clean, sterilize, and autoclave the metal mandrel according to standard clinical reprocessing procedures.
