* 1 × 3M ESPE Sof-Lex Mandrel (Ref: 1983M / 1770)

1. Clean and sterilize the mandrel in an autoclave prior to initial clinical use.
2. Insert the latch-type RA shank firmly into a clean low-speed counter-angle handpiece until locked.
3. Align the pop-on center of the selected Sof-Lex finishing disc over the round mandrel head.
4. Press the disc gently onto the head until it snaps firmly into place.
5. Operate the handpiece at recommended polishing speeds with light pressure on the restoration.
6. Detach the worn disc post-treatment, then thoroughly clean and re-sterilize the mandrel.
