1. Prepare the tooth cavity following standard micro-conservative operative procedures and rinse thoroughly with water.
2. Select the preferred etching technique (self-etch, selective enamel etch, or total-etch) and apply phosphoric acid etchant if applicable.
3. Dispense a single drop of the universal adhesive into a clean well immediately before application to prevent premature evaporation.
4. Apply the adhesive liberally onto the entire prepared tooth surface using a micro-applicator brush and rub continuously for 20 seconds.
5. Evaporate the solvent using a gentle stream of dry air for at least 5 seconds until a thin, uniform, non-moving glossy film is formed.
6. Light cure the adhesive layer using a dental curing light for 10 seconds according to recommended light intensity specifications.
7. Proceed with the placement and curing of the desired direct resin composite or indirect cementation material according to standard protocol.
