3M ESPE RelyX Temp NE is an advanced zinc oxide non-eugenol provisional luting cement tailored for temporary fixation of crowns, bridges, inlays, onlays, and implant-supported provisional restorations. Designed with a hand-mix base and catalyst paste system, it produces a consistent, smooth mix that flows effortlessly under seating pressure.

Because the formula contains no eugenol, it will not inhibit the polymerization of resin-based permanent cements or composite core build-up materials applied in subsequent appointments. This makes RelyX Temp NE a versatile choice for modern aesthetic and adhesive dental protocols.

The cement exhibits a very thin film thickness, facilitating complete seated fit of temporary prostheses without altering occlusal height. Upon removal of the provisional restoration, the cement detaches cleanly, keeping preparation cleanup time to a minimum.

* 1 × Base Paste – 30 g
* 1 × Catalyst Paste – 13 g
* 1 × Mixing Pad

1. Clean and dry the prepared cavity or abutment tooth thoroughly prior to placement.
2. Dispense equal lengths of base paste and catalyst paste onto the provided mixing pad.
3. Mix both pastes thoroughly using a spatula for 30 seconds until a homogeneous mixture is achieved.
4. Apply a thin layer of the mixed cement onto the internal surfaces of the provisional restoration.
5. Seat the provisional restoration in position using gentle, uniform pressure.
6. Allow the material to set inside the oral cavity for approximately 1 minute and 30 seconds.
7. Excess material hardens and can be peeled or flaked off easily using an explorer or scaler.
