3M ESPE RelyX Luting 2 Refill Pack provides an advanced resin-modified glass ionomer luting solution in a convenient paste-paste delivery system. Formulated for the final placement of indirect restorations, this self-adhesive RMGIC combines the fluoride release and biocompatibility of traditional glass ionomers with the physical strength and low solubility of resin cements. The system utilizes a specialized Clicker dispenser that yields precise proportions upon every click, avoiding guesswork and material waste during preparation.

Designed for modern clinical workflows, the cement features a 5-second tack light-cure option that converts excess marginal flash into a firm gel state. This property allows practitioners to peel away excess cement quickly and cleanly without harming surrounding tissues or destabilizing the restoration. Each dispenser yields approximately 80 clicks, providing sufficient material to cement approximately 40 single-unit crowns.

The cement is well suited for permanent placement of porcelain-fused-to-metal (PFM) crowns and bridges, all-metal restorations, high-strength all-ceramic cores (such as zirconia and alumina), endodontic posts, and orthodontic bands. Its low film thickness helps achieve ideal marginal adaptation without requiring tooth pretreatment or adhesive application.

1. Extrude the desired quantity of cement by depressing the Clicker lever onto a mixing pad.
2. Mix the two contrasting pastes thoroughly using a spatula for 20 seconds until a homogeneous color is achieved.
3. Load a thin, even layer of mixed cement onto the internal surfaces of the dry restoration.
4. Seat the restoration firmly onto the prepared tooth structure within the 2.5-minute working time.
5. Light-cure marginal areas for 5 seconds to achieve a gel consistency, then immediately remove excess cement.
6. Maintain steady seating pressure until final self-curing is complete at 5 minutes intraorally.
