3M ESPE Polyether Tray Adhesive is an essential accessory engineered to create a secure chemical bond between polyether impression materials and impression trays. Detachment of impression material from the tray during withdrawal from the oral cavity is a primary cause of marginal inaccuracies and dimensional distortions. This specialized adhesive prevents such failures by creating a reliable bridge across metal, plastic, and custom acrylic surfaces.
Supplied in a 17 ml glass bottle with an integrated brush cap, the liquid allows for smooth, even distribution without creating excess bulk. Once applied, the adhesive dries rapidly, requiring only a few minutes of air-drying before the polyether material is loaded. Utilizing this dedicated adhesive ensures consistent precision, accurate master casts, and reliable restorative outcomes.
