1. Set up the Pentamix automatic mixing device with the required impression cartridge.
2. Assemble the elastomer syringe by securing the barrel and intraoral tip in place.
3. Dispense mixed elastomeric material directly from the mixer nozzle into the syringe barrel.
4. Position the nozzle tip intraorally at the gingival margin of the prepared tooth.
5. Extrude the wash material continuously around the preparation while keeping the tip immersed in material to avoid air voids.
6. Seat the heavy-body filled tray over the intraoral wash material before initial gelation.
7. Maintain tray position until the impression material fully sets per manufacturer timing.
8. Remove and disassemble the syringe assembly, then clean and sterilize non-disposable components following standard autoclave protocols.
