1. Prepare the tooth cavity following standard operative techniques and isolate the working area effectively.
2. Select the desired shade of Filtek Z350 XT material under natural light conditions prior to rubber dam placement.
3. Apply 3M Single Bond Universal adhesive to the prepared enamel and dentin surfaces according to your chosen etch protocol.
4. Dry the adhesive with a gentle air stream for 5 seconds to evaporate solvent, then light-cure for 10 seconds.
5. Place Filtek Z350 XT composite in increments no thicker than 2 mm to minimize polymerization shrinkage stress.
6. Light-cure each increment using a compatible dental curing light for the exposure time specified by the shade opacity.
7. Contour, finish, and polish the restored surface using appropriate finishing burs, discs, and polishing points.
