3M ESPE Filtek Supreme Flowable Restorative is an advanced light-cured composite resin engineered to deliver outstanding aesthetic performance and versatile handling characteristics. Built upon 3M's proven TRUE nanotechnology, this flowable material incorporates uniform filler particles that provide exceptional polish retention and enamel-like wear resistance. Its unique flow-on-demand behavior ensures smooth flow into tight margins while maintaining shape stability prior to light polymerization.

Designed to simplify clinical workflow, the updated ergonomic syringe system significantly reduces hand pressure during injection while eliminating unwanted voids and material run-on. The flexible cannula allows precise placement in difficult-to-reach posterior and anterior preparations. Additionally, the material can be safely pre-warmed for injection molding techniques.

This flowable composite is indicated for a broad spectrum of restorative applications including Class I–V restorations, cavity linings, pit and fissure sealants, and small structural repairs. Offered in a range of VITA-matched shades, the standard 2-pack refill includes two 2 g syringes along with 20 precision dispensing tips.

1. Perform isolation of the target tooth using a rubber dam or absorbent cotton rolls.
2. Complete conservative cavity preparation and thoroughly clean and dry the surface without desiccating the dentin.
3. Apply a compatible dental adhesive according to the manufacturer guidelines and light-cure accordingly.
4. Attach the bendable dispensing cannula firmly onto the Filtek Supreme Flowable syringe barrel.
5. Express a minor quantity outside the mouth to ensure free flow, then dispense the composite directly into the cavity from the deepest margin upwards.
6. Place in increments of 2 mm or less, maintaining tip immersion to avoid trapping air bubbles.
7. Light-cure each increment using a high-intensity dental curing light according to recommended cure times.
8. Shape, finish, and polish the restoration using appropriate fine finishing burs and polishing systems.
