1. Clean and isolate the target tooth, leaving the cavity slightly damp to facilitate setting.
2. Retrieve the required amount of paste from the jar using a clean, dry metal filling instrument.
3. Condense the material gently into the moist cavity to ensure complete void-free marginal adaptation.
4. For deep cavities or medication-containing access openings, apply the material without heavy pressure.
5. Contour the surface to match anatomical occlusal lines and verify occlusion.
6. Instruct the patient to refrain from applying heavy chewing forces to the restoration for at least 2 hours.
7. Seal the glass container immediately after dispense to prevent atmospheric degradation.
8. Dislodge the intact temporary restoration at the subsequent visit using a probe or rotary instrument.
